Baby's First Year from Molly West Handbound Books
Baby's First Year is a baby memory book keepsake that chronicles the pregnancy, birth, and the first year of a child's life. Journal sections include a family tree, a chart for stamping the handprint and footprint, a name history, envelope for lock of hair, as well as space for listing key "firsts" and "favorites."
In addition, mounting spaces include the birth certificate, shower invitation, birth announcement and many first photos. The crisp white pages are printed in sage green ink and are bound to lie flat for ease of use during writing, mounting and viewing.

Molly West Baby's First Year:
Molly West Handbound books are handcrafted with respect to tradition and regard for the future. Each piece combines richly colored textured fabrics and trimmings with heavyweight recycled papers to create a treasure worthy of the most cherished photographs, keepsakes, and musings.
The company began as a labor of love. Inspired by the ancient craft of papermaking, Molly West began creating business cards and invitations for friends and family. After apprenticeships in paper conservation and fine design binding, she created the first Molly West Handbound books in 1992, in the dining room of a San Francisco Victorian. The Molly West collection includes baby memory books, photo albums, guest books, journals, address books, keepsake boxes, and a perpetual planner. Regardless of its function, every piece is:
Archival
All papers are acid free to safeguard photos and momentos. Plastic sleeves are custom made and PVC free, eliminating harmful emissions that may deteriorate photos over time.
Beautiful
We search the world for the most exquisite and opulent silk brocades, jacquards, dupionis and taffetas to use on our covers. Fabrics and ribbons are combined with an artist's eye for harmony and surprise. All textiles are treated for stain resistance to extend their life.
